My Home’s Paint Colors
I often get asked what paint colors I use for each room. So, let’s make it easy and include them all in one easy to find place!
Our whole house started out a cool gray, Sherwin Williams Frosty White for the walls and ceilings and Extra White for the trim work. And, very slowly, I’ve been changing that out in most rooms for a more crisp white with lots of color pops.
Let me know if I’m missing any, and I’ll send you the colors and update this list.

Entryway Bench
Sherwin Williams’ Extra White for the trim work and walls and Distance for the shelf and bench.
I love this gorgeous deep blue from Sherwin Williams I used for the entryway bench. And, I continued the same white as the rest of the trim in our house with the woodwork.
It definitely looks different in different lights, so make sure you grab a sample of this if you’re looking to try it in your home–sometimes more gray and sometimes more purple undertones. It just depends on the lighting.
Playroom
Polkadots, Bookshelf, and Table: Sherwin Williams Hopeful (light pink)
Polkadots and bookshelf: Sherwin Williams Dragon Fruit (dark pink)
Polkadots: Sherwin Williams Lime Granita (lime green)
Walls and trim: Sherwin Williams Extra White
The pinks were the perfect coordinating colors for our llama Ruggable and great accents for the bookshelves and kids’ table and chairs I refinished for the space.
Kids’ Bathroom
Beadboard: Sherwin Williams Tantalizing Teal
Upper Walls & Ceiling: Sherwin Williams Frosty White
Rainbows: Sherwin Williams Hopeful (light pink), Sherwin Williams Dragon Fruit (dark pink), Sherwin Williams Lime Granita (lime green), Sherwin Williams Tantalizing Teal (teal), and Sherwin Williams Agapanthus (purple)
I love this teal–you’ll see it used in a few places in our home. It’s the perfect mix of blue and green, and the perfect rich color to give a fun and playful feel to the space.
Emory’s Bedroom
Upper Walls :Sherwin Williams Agapanthus
Woodwork and trim: Sherwin Williams Extra White
This purple is one of those paint colors that I saw in the store and immediately knew it was perfect. No samples, no taking the paint chips home to look at. Just knew.
And, that gut feeling was right. This is the perfect lavender–not too pink and not too blue.
Hazel’s Nursery
Ceiling: Behr Ceiling Paint in Ultra Pure White
Walls: Behr Ultra Pure White
Doors: Sherwin Williams Tantalizing Teal
I knew when I was designing Hazel’s nursery that I wanted it to be Lilly Pulitzer themed. But, I didn’t want the bright colors to be too overwhelming.
So, I put the color on the doors with the same teal I used in the girls’ bathroom. And, I kept the rest of the walls a crisp white. That let me play with colors in the decor and bedding without the room feeling too loud.
Laundry Room Refresh
The laundry room is another space where I wanted the accents to speak for themselves (the teal backsplash tiles and wood shelves).
So, I kept the walls and ceilings the same crisp white as many other rooms in our home.
Cloffice
Walls: Sherwin Williams Frosty White
Desk & Shelving: HGTV by Sherwin Williams Oceanside
The cloffice was definitely a space I let color shine. I wanted a bold statement when you opened the doors of the guest room to this space. And, the beautiful statement wallpaper wall from Photowall helps finish off this creative workspace.
That’s It!
Those are my favorite paint colors and the ones currently in my home. Do you have a favorite of one of these?
